Seth Bennett, a 17 year old city kid, has his life turned upside down when his grandmother, Jane, passes away... willing the Bennett house in Ravenbrook to him and his mother. His mother, Alice, left town when she was his age and has been keeping that town and his fathers family a secret from him. When Seth starts to manifest water based powers he is forced to work with his fathers family to learn to use and control his magic. Seth later uncovers the details surrounding his fathers mysterious death at the hand of his family - the rich and powerful Prescott coven. Can he keep their family secrets?
